0AM DQ200 DSG Outer / Inner TCU Gasket – Audi, SEAT, Skoda, Volkswagen
The TCU gasket (OE ref 0AM927377) seals the connection between the TCU and the 0AM / 0CW DQ200 7-speed DSG mechatronic unit. The unit takes two seals — it is most common to replace the outward-facing seal that mounts between the TCU and the gearbox casing. A failed or weeping seal can cause mechatronic fault codes and gear-selection problems.

What symptoms suggest a failed TCU gasket on the 0AM DSG?
Weeping transmission oil around the mechatronic unit, mechatronic fault codes on a scan tool, slipping gears or a stuck-in-gear condition are all common signs. The outer TCU gasket is a frequent culprit and is one of the first items to replace during a mechatronic rebuild.
Do I need to replace both TCU gaskets at the same time?
The 0AM mechatronic unit uses two gaskets — an inner and an outer. During a rebuild it is best practice to replace both. If you are doing a targeted repair on the outer seal only, this single gasket covers that position.
