This DSG gearbox end cap (OE part number 0AM301212A) is a known wear and replacement item on the 7-speed dry-clutch DQ200 transmission found in a wide range of Audi, Volkswagen, SEAT and Skoda vehicles. The end cap seals the transmission casing and is subject to deterioration over time, leading to ATF leaks around the closure point. It must be renewed during internal transmission repairs or whenever the gearbox casing is opened.
