DSG 02E DQ250 Mechatronic Cover Plate Gasket – 02E321371E

This is the replacement gasket for the mechatronic unit cover plate on the Volkswagen 02E DQ250 6-speed DSG dual-clutch gearbox. The cover plate gasket seals the junction between the mechatronic unit and the gearbox casing, preventing transmission fluid leaks that can cause electronic faults and mechatronic damage. This is an essential replacement item whenever the mechatronic unit is removed, inspected, or replaced.

When should I replace the mechatronic cover gasket?

The gasket must be replaced whenever the mechatronic unit is removed. Re-using the old gasket risks fluid ingress into the electronics, which is one of the most common causes of mechatronic failure on the 02E DQ250. Always fit a fresh gasket during any DQ250 mechatronic service.

Is this an OE or aftermarket gasket?
