M32 Gearbox 3rd Gear (59T) – Generation 3, Vauxhall 2016 Onwards (55580390)
This is the 3rd gear (59 teeth) for the Generation 3 M32 6-speed manual gearbox, on the output-shaft side (fitment location 22 on the gearbox diagram). It is the later Gen 3 tooth design introduced from 2016.
Important – generation fitment: This gear fits the Gen 3 M32 (2016 onwards) only. It will not fit the earlier Gen 1 / 2 M32 gearboxes, which use a different gear design.
Fits transmission: M32 Generation 3 6-speed manual gearbox (2016 onward)

Vehicle Compatibility
Fitted to Vauxhall, Opel, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Chevrolet and Saab models equipped with the post-2016 Generation 3 M32 6-speed gearbox. As many of these models were also built earlier with the Gen 1 / 2 box, please confirm your gearbox generation before ordering. Will this fit my M32 gearbox?
Only the Generation 3 M32 (2016 onwards). It will not fit Gen 1 or Gen 2 boxes — the gear design is different.
How many teeth does it have?
59 teeth. It sits on the output-shaft side as the 3rd gear.
How do I know if I have a Gen 3 M32?
Gen 3 boxes were fitted from 2016 onward. If you are not sure, send us your registration or VIN and we will confirm.
