About the Astra

The Vauxhall/Opel Astra is a C-segment small family car – sold as a hatchback, estate (Sports Tourer) and van – and a UK best-seller since it replaced the Kadett in 1991. Eco Torque holds one of our deepest transmission ranges for the Astra, built around the M32 6-speed manual: individual gears and shafts, synchro hubs and rings, selector parts, differentials, bearing & seal kits and complete end-case rebuild kits, alongside F17 5-speed internals, F40 6-speed repair parts, LuK dual-mass flywheels and clutch kits, and gearbox oil service kits.

Depending on engine and age the Astra used the F17 5-speed (and the F17 Easytronic automated manual) on smaller units, the M32 6-speed on more powerful petrol and diesel models, and the heavier-duty F40 6-speed on high-torque diesels.
