Genuine CORTECO outer input shaft oil seal for the 0AM DQ200 7-speed dual clutch (DSG) transmission. Manufactured from ACM (acrylate rubber) compound for resistance to ATF fluid and elevated temperatures. Dimensions: 40 x 56 x 8 mm.

Which transmission does this seal fit?
This is the outer input shaft seal for the 0AM DQ200 7-speed dual clutch transmission used in the Volkswagen Group (VW, Audi, SEAT, Škoda).
What is the difference between the inner and outer input shaft seal?
The DQ200 has two concentric input shaft seals. The outer seal (this part, 40x56x8mm) seals the larger outer shaft; the inner seal (ET2090, 20.5x28x7mm) seals the inner shaft. Both should be inspected and replaced together during a rebuild.
Is this a genuine CORTECO part?

Can I replace just the outer seal without removing the gearbox?
In most cases the transmission must be removed or partially dropped to access the input shaft area. We recommend replacing both inner and outer input shaft seals at the same time to save labour on a repeat job.
