The SKF 6206-2RS1 C3 is a deep groove ball bearing with two rubber contact seals (2RS1 suffix), measuring 30x62x16mm. What does 2RS1 mean?
2RS1 indicates double rubber contact seals (one each side). The contact lip seals both retain the factory grease fill and exclude grit, water and contaminants, making the bearing maintenance-free and sealed for life. The 1 suffix denotes the specific SKF seal design variant.
What is the difference between 6206-2RS and 6206-2RS1?
The -2RS1 is SKF's current production design of the double rubber sealed 6206. Functionally equivalent to older -2RS designations, it uses an updated seal lip geometry for improved sealing performance and reduced friction. It is a direct replacement for 6206-2RS.
