Internal Diameter 39mm.
Please note the OE Generation 3 M32 systems use a thicker diameter output shaft at the point 4th gear sits.

Please check the internal measurement of the gear before ordering. This gear is not compatible with the Gen 1 or 2 M32 Gearbox.

Yes. 55491401 is the Vauxhall OEM 61-tooth 4th gear for M32 Gen 3 gearboxes (2016 onwards). It has a different specification to Gen 1 and Gen 2 variants.

This gear has a 39mm bore. Always confirm the bore size matches your existing gear when ordering.

Can this be used in a Gen 1 or Gen 2 M32?

No. The Gen 3 M32 uses an updated tooth form and synchromesh design that is not compatible with earlier generation gearboxes.
