Upgraded Reverse Selector Fork – 0AM DQ200 DSG (Audi, Seat, Skoda, Volkswagen)

This genuine upgraded reverse selector fork is designed for the DQ200 7-speed DSG gearbox (0AM code) and addresses a known fault affecting reverse gear operation. The upgraded part replaces the original selector fork with an improved design that provides more reliable reverse gear engagement. OE part number: 0AM311562L (also 0AM 311 562 L). Fits Audi, Seat, Skoda and Volkswagen 0AM gearboxes.

Gearbox: DQ200 7-speed DSG (0AM)

Compatible vehicles include:

  • Audi A1, A3, TT — 7-speed DSG models
  • SEAT Ibiza, Leon, Toledo — 7-speed DSG models
  • Skoda Fabia, Octavia, Rapid, Yeti — 7-speed DSG models
  • Volkswagen Golf, Polo, Passat, Tiguan — 7-speed DSG models
What does the reverse selector fork do?

The reverse selector fork moves the reverse gear sleeve into engagement when the driver selects reverse. A worn or damaged fork causes hesitation, clunking, or failure to engage reverse gear cleanly.

Why is this listed as an upgrade?

0AM311562L is a revised OEM part that supersedes the original design. The updated geometry provides a more positive engagement and reduces wear on the selector mechanism.

What are the symptoms of a failed reverse selector fork?

Difficulty selecting reverse, a loud clunk when engaging reverse, or the gearbox failing to select reverse at all are typical indicators. A P0895 or similar reverse-related fault code may also be present.

Is a DSG adaptation required after fitting?

Disassembly of the DQ200 inner gearbox may require a subsequent DSG adaptation (VCDS or equivalent). Consult the VAG workshop manual for the specific procedure for your gearbox.

Why Choose Eco Torque?

As specialists in gearbox rebuilds and repairs, Eco Torque takes pride in offering genuine gearbox parts, high-quality aftermarket alternatives and competitive pricing.
