A genuine BorgWarner dual clutch assembly for the Audi 0B5 DL501 7-speed S-Tronic gearbox. BorgWarner is the original OE manufacturer of the DL501 dual clutch system. This is the complete dual clutch pack for the 4WD / AWD quattro S-Tronic models. Worn or oil-contaminated clutch packs cause shudder, slipping and judder at low speed — this is the correct OE replacement unit.

Why does the 0B5 DL501 S-Tronic dual clutch need replacing?
The DL501 wet dual clutch pack wears over time and is vulnerable to oil contamination. Worn friction material causes clutch shudder and judder at low speeds, particularly when pulling away, engaging reverse, or during slow traffic. In advanced cases the clutch begins to slip under load. Replacing the clutch pack, along with a full fluid flush, restores clean, smooth engagement.
Is this a genuine BorgWarner part or aftermarket?
This is a genuine OE BorgWarner dual clutch assembly, as fitted to the Audi 0B5 DL501 at the factory. BorgWarner is the Tier 1 OE supplier for the DL501 clutch system. This is not an aftermarket or pattern part.
Does this clutch fit Porsche Macan?
Yes — the Porsche Macan (2014–2018) uses a version of the DL501 S-Tronic gearbox and this dual clutch assembly is compatible with those models. Please confirm your specific Macan variant with us before ordering.
Do I need to replace the oil when fitting a new dual clutch?
Yes — a full oil change with the correct specification DSG / S-Tronic oil is mandatory when fitting a new dual clutch. Old contaminated oil will accelerate wear on the new clutch pack and cause premature failure.
