The Haldex pump provides the oil pressure to operate the all-wheel-drive system assembly and engages the coupling to send power to the rear wheels. This part is prone to failure on higher mileage cars or if regular maintenance in not performed.

- Loss of power to the rear wheels
- Reduced traction and grip.
