0AM 0CW DQ200 DSG 7-Speed Hydraulic Accumulator Kit – P17BF P189C Fault Repair for Audi / SEAT / Skoda / Volkswagen
A Kinergo replacement hydraulic accumulator kit for the 0AM / 0CW DQ200 7-speed DSG mechatronic unit. This kit provides a permanent cure for mechatronic hydraulic faults P17BF and P189C caused by accumulator failure or valve body cracking at the accumulator port. The Kinergo accumulator is a refined aftermarket solution with an improved specification over the original unit.
Kit includes:
- 1 × Kinergo hydraulic accumulator with location housing adapter
- 1 × Accumulator installation wrench
Fits transmission: 0AM DQ200 / 0CW DQ200 7-Speed DSG (Dual Clutch)
Fitment note: The Kinergo accumulator is slightly smaller in circumference than the original unit and requires the supplied housing adapter to fit correctly to the valve body. Always use fresh genuine mechatronic oil when rebuilding any unit.
Fits vehicles: Audi A1 (2011–), A3 (2008–), TT · SEAT Altea, Ibiza, Leon, Toledo · Skoda Fabia, Octavia, Rapid, Roomster, Superb, Yeti · VW Beetle, CC, Caddy, Golf, Golf Plus, Jetta, Passat, Passat CC, Polo, Scirocco, Touran
What causes P17BF and P189C on the 0AM DSG?
P17BF (hydraulic pressure regulator fault) and P189C (accumulator pressure plausibility) are triggered when the hydraulic accumulator fails to maintain the required pressure in the mechatronic circuit. This is caused either by a failed or cracked accumulator, or by a crack in the valve body at the point where the accumulator locates. The Kinergo kit addresses both issues via the replacement accumulator and location housing.
Why does this kit include an installation wrench?
The Kinergo accumulator requires a specific torquing procedure and the wrench is designed to allow the accumulator to be tightened to the correct torque within the housing adapter without damaging the unit. Using standard tools risks incorrect installation and early re-failure. The wrench is also sold separately as ET2929H.
Does the Kinergo accumulator fit both 0AM and 0CW versions?
Yes — this kit is compatible with both the 0AM and 0CW variants of the DQ200 7-speed mechatronic unit.
Do I need to clear the fault codes after fitting the Kinergo accumulator?
Yes — once the accumulator has been fitted and the mechatronic unit reassembled with fresh oil, fault codes P17BF and P189C must be cleared with a VAG-compatible diagnostic tool. The gearbox self-adaption should be reset at the same time.
Why Choose Eco Torque?
As specialists in gearbox rebuilds and repairs, Eco Torque takes pride in offering genuine gearbox parts, high-quality aftermarket alternatives and competitive pricing.
