P17BF (hydraulic pressure regulator fault) and P189C (accumulator pressure plausibility) are triggered when the hydraulic accumulator fails to maintain the required pressure in the mechatronic circuit. This is caused either by a failed or cracked accumulator, or by a crack in the valve body at the point where the accumulator locates. The Kinergo kit addresses both issues via the replacement accumulator and location housing.

The Kinergo accumulator requires a specific torquing procedure and the wrench is designed to allow the accumulator to be tightened to the correct torque within the housing adapter without damaging the unit.
