DSG 0B5 DL501 K1 / K2 Clutch Solenoid Filter Screen – Audi S-Tronic
This solenoid filter screen fits the Audi 0B5 DL501 S-Tronic 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. It protects solenoids N436 and N440 by capturing metallic and non-metallic contaminants from the transmission fluid before they can cause solenoid wear or blockage. Replacement is recommended during any 0B5 mechatronic service or solenoid replacement procedure. Fits models 2008–2014.

Why does the 0B5 solenoid filter screen need replacing?
The DL501 gearbox is known to suffer solenoid contamination, particularly in early units. The fine mesh screen filters debris from reaching the solenoid valve body. Over time the screen can become partially blocked, causing erratic gearbox behaviour, delayed engagement, or fault codes. Routine replacement during a service helps maintain clean hydraulic flow to the solenoids.
Is this a genuine or aftermarket part?
This is a high-quality aftermarket replacement screen. It meets the functional specification of the original part and is a cost-effective solution for routine maintenance or solenoid replacement jobs.
Can I fit this without removing the full mechatronic unit?
Access to the K1/K2 solenoid filter screens typically requires partial disassembly of the valve body. We recommend this job is undertaken by a technician experienced with the 0B5 gearbox. Contact us if you need guidance on the procedure.
Does this fit the Porsche Macan?
