DSG DQ200 Mechatronic Gearbox Front Cover Gasket – 7-Speed 0AM / 0CW (Audi, Seat, Skoda, VW)

This front cover gasket seals the mechatronic unit housing on DQ200 7-speed DSG gearboxes (0AM and 0CW codes) fitted to Audi, Seat, Skoda and Volkswagen vehicles. A leaking or damaged gasket allows ATF fluid to escape the mechatronic unit, leading to DSG warning lights, gear selection faults and potential damage to the electronics. Supplier reference: 217816.

Should I replace the gasket every time I open the mechatronic unit?

Yes. Best practice is to replace the gasket whenever the mechatronic unit is opened, as re-using a compressed gasket risks a seal failure after reassembly.
