DSG 0AM DQ200 7-Speed Mechatronic High Pressure Pump Reconditioned – 0AM325579D

A reconditioned high-pressure hydraulic pump for the 0AM / 0CW DQ200 7-speed dry dual-clutch DSG mechatronic unit. The high-pressure pump generates the hydraulic pressure used to actuate the dual clutch and gear selection forks. Pump failure — typically caused by a P17BF or P189C fault code — is one of the most common 0AM DSG failures. Pumps are not available new; these units have been disassembled, visually inspected and fitted with new internal seals.

OE Part Number: 0AM325579D

Fits transmission: 0AM DQ200 / 0CW DQ200 7-Speed DSG (Dual Clutch)

Why does the 0AM DQ200 high pressure pump fail?

The hydraulic pump runs constantly when a leak is present in the mechatronic, causing it to overheat. The overheated pump seizes internally, triggering the hydraulic pump protection fault (P17BF or P189C). The gearbox enters limp mode and loses gear selection. Replacing the pump — along with addressing the root cause of any hydraulic leak — is required for a lasting repair.

Why is the reconditioned pump fitted with new seals?

The pump is the heart of the mechatronic hydraulic circuit. The internal seal pack is replaced during reconditioning to restore oil-tight pump operation and ensure the rebuilt pump holds pressure correctly under working load.

Does this pump fit both 0AM and 0CW versions of the DQ200?

Yes — the 0AM325579D high-pressure pump fits both the 0AM and 0CW variants of the DQ200 7-speed mechatronic unit.

Should I also replace the IC motor when fitting a new pump?

Yes — if the pump has failed due to continuous running, the IC motor that drives it is almost certainly heat-damaged too. Fitting a reconditioned pump while leaving the original motor in place risks rapid re-failure. Eco Torque also stocks the reconditioned IC motor (ET2915) for a complete repair.
