CORTECO HT200C Silicone Sealing Paste – 80ml White
CORTECO HT200C is a professional-grade silicone sealing paste particularly intended for sealing all surfaces in engines, gearboxes and axles, including cylinder liners and synthetic housings. It is highly suited to uneven and rough surfaces, with high thermal stability from -50°C to 200°C. The paste is solvent-free, permanently elastic, fast-hardening, and resistant to water, coolants, motor oils, and fuels (for limited exposure).

Where can I use this silicone sealing paste?
It is designed for engines, gearboxes, axles, cylinder liners, and synthetic (plastic) housings. It is also suitable for uneven or rough mating surfaces where a conventional gasket may not provide adequate sealing.
Is HT200C suitable for wet or oil-immersed surfaces?
Once cured, HT200C is resistant to motor oils, coolants, water, and short-term fuel exposure. Do not apply to wet surfaces — surfaces should be clean and dry before application.
How long does it take to cure?
HT200C is fast-hardening. Surface skin forms within minutes at room temperature; full cure typically takes several hours depending on bead thickness and ambient conditions.
Does this replace a conventional paper or rubber gasket?
In many gearbox and engine applications it can be used as a formed-in-place (FIP) gasket or in addition to an existing gasket to seal irregularities. Always follow the vehicle manufacturer's instructions for your specific application.
Is this the white or grey version?
This is the white formulation (HT200C). A grey variant may also be available. White is widely used for gearboxes and engine covers.
