Hyundai Accent 3rd Speed Gear Bundle – 27T & 37T Pair
Matched pair of 3rd speed gears for the Hyundai Accent manual gearbox. This kit includes the input shaft gear (27 tooth, part number 4326023240) and the output shaft gear (37 tooth, part number 4326323240), covering both gears required for a complete 3rd speed rebuild.

Why replace both 3rd gears at the same time?
The 27T input and 37T output gears run as a meshing pair. If either shows wear, replacing just one gear accelerates wear on the unworn component due to the mismatch in tooth profile. Always replace as a matched set.
What are the symptoms of 3rd gear failure in the Hyundai Accent?
Symptoms include crunching or refusal to engage 3rd, gear jump-out under load in 3rd, and gearbox noise at speeds corresponding to 3rd gear. A strip-down is needed to confirm tooth wear and inspect the synchromesh ring.
Do I also need to replace the synchromesh ring?
Yes — inspect the synchroniser ring for the 3rd gear position during the rebuild and replace it if there is any sign of wear or reduced clearance. Fitting new gears against a worn synchro ring will cause premature failure.
Is this bundle cheaper than buying the gears separately?
The bundle is priced as a pair and represents a cost saving over purchasing ET2757 (27T) and ET2758 (37T) individually. It also ensures both gears are from the same batch.
