DSG Mechatronic Accumulator Seal – Audi, SEAT, Skoda, Volkswagen (0AM/0CW DQ200)

This replacement accumulator seal is designed for the 7-speed DQ200 dry-clutch DSG mechatronic unit found in a wide range of Audi, SEAT, Skoda and Volkswagen vehicles. The accumulator seal is a known wear item in the 0AM and 0CW transmission family; a failed seal causes pressure loss in the hydraulic circuit, leading to jerky gearshifts, slipping or a "safe mode" fault. Replacing this seal during a mechatronic service or rebuild restores correct pressure and smooth operation.

What does the mechatronic accumulator seal do?

The accumulator seal maintains hydraulic pressure within the mechatronic valve body. It allows the system to build and hold the pressure needed to actuate gear clutches quickly and smoothly.

How do I know if the accumulator seal has failed?

Symptoms include harsh or jerky gear changes, hesitation when pulling away, a clunking feeling during low-speed shifts, and in some cases a DQ200 fault code or gearbox warning light. Pressure testing the mechatronic circuit will confirm a seal failure.
