0GC DQ381 & 0BH DQ500 DSG Gearbox Mechatronic Oil Feed Pipes
Set of 8 oil pressure feed pipes with O-rings for the 0GC DQ381 and 0BH DQ500 DSG gearboxes. These pipes carry hydraulic pressure between the mechatronic unit and the clutch housings and must be removed to separate the clutch housing from the main gearbox body during a rebuild.
Kit includes:
- 8x oil feed pipes with O-rings
Note: not all pipes present in this location are included in this kit.
Fits transmissions: 0GC DQ381 DSG 7-Speed; 0BH DQ500 DSG 7-Speed
Vehicle compatibility: VW, Audi, SEAT and Skoda models equipped with 0GC DQ381 or 0BH DQ500 DSG gearbox
Why do the oil feed pipes need replacing?
The O-rings on the feed pipes harden and crack over time, causing internal hydraulic leaks. A failed pipe seal allows pressure to drop in the affected clutch circuit, resulting in slip, harsh shifts or fault codes.
Are these the same pipes for both the 0GC DQ381 and 0BH DQ500?
Yes — this set is compatible with both gearboxes. The mechatronic oil feed pipe configuration is shared between the DQ381 and DQ500 families.
Do I need to remove the gearbox to replace these pipes?
The pipes can be accessed with the gearbox in situ on some applications, but full removal gives better access and is recommended for a thorough repair. The O-rings should always be replaced when the pipes are disturbed.
Can I reuse the O-rings?
No. The O-rings are compression-sealed components and must be replaced every time the pipes are removed. This kit includes new O-rings for each pipe.
What fault codes point to a failing mechatronic feed pipe?
Codes related to clutch pressure regulation (e.g. P17xx series on VW Group), clutch slip, and clutch adaptation faults often accompany a leaking feed pipe. Scan the gearbox with VCDS or similar before disassembly.
