About the Haldex Filter
The Haldex filter is the most neglected service item on an all-wheel-drive coupling. Clutch material and swarf collect in it over the years, and a blocked filter starves the pump — which is why filters and pumps so often fail as a pair. Eco Torque stocks Genuine Haldex (S-TEC) and BorgWarner filter and gasket kits for Gen 1 to Gen 4 couplings.
Filters are generation-specific: 02D525558A (Gen 1 Audi, VW, SEAT, Skoda), 8675235 (Gen 1 Volvo S60), 02D598574 (Gen 2), 8V414A319AA / 30787687 (Gen 3 Ford and Volvo), LR032298 (Gen 4 Freelander and Range Rover Evoque) and 20986573 / 04 03 012 (Gen 4 Vauxhall, Opel and Saab). Gen 5 couplings are not listed here because the filter forms part of the pump assembly — on Gen 5 the service is a pump kit and an oil change. Not sure which parts you need?
