DQ200 0AM Gen 1 Mechatronic Internal Filter – Audi, SEAT, Skoda, Volkswagen
This internal filter is designed for the Generation 1 DQ200 0AM mechatronic unit fitted to many Audi, SEAT, Skoda and Volkswagen vehicles with the 7-speed dry-clutch DSG gearbox. The filter is housed inside the mechatronic assembly and removes contaminants from the hydraulic fluid that operates the gear-selection solenoids. This is a rebuild or repair item — it is not replaced during a routine fluid service but should be renewed whenever the mechatronic unit is removed or rebuilt.
Fits transmission: 0AM / DQ200 7-speed dry-clutch DSG (Generation 1)
Position: Internal — installed inside the mechatronic unit
Fits vehicles: Audi, SEAT, Skoda, Volkswagen — see vehicle compatibility tab for full model and year range list.
What is the difference between the ET2021 and ET2026 mechatronic filters?
ET2021 is the standard DQ200 mechatronic internal filter. ET2026 is specifically designed for the Generation 1 0AM mechatronic unit. Always check the generation of your mechatronic unit before ordering to ensure the correct filter is used.
When should the mechatronic internal filter be replaced?
Replace the internal filter every time the mechatronic unit is removed for inspection, repair or rebuild. It is not a routine service item but should always be renewed during internal mechatronic work to maintain hydraulic cleanliness.
What symptoms indicate a problem with the mechatronic unit that may require filter replacement?
Symptoms include harsh or jerky gear changes, hesitation when pulling away from rest, gear selection faults, DQ200 or P-code fault codes, and in severe cases gearbox limp-home mode. A mechatronic pressure test should be carried out to confirm diagnosis.
Is this an OE part?
This is an aftermarket internal filter manufactured to OE dimensions and specifications for the 0AM / DQ200 Gen 1 mechatronic unit.
What other parts should I replace during a DQ200 mechatronic service?
During a mechatronic rebuild or service, it is best practice to also replace the accumulator seals (ET2022), any worn solenoids, and the mechatronic gaskets. Contact Eco Torque for a full parts recommendation.
