0AM DQ200 DSG Mechatronic Solenoid Seal – Audi, SEAT, Skoda, Volkswagen
This solenoid seal sits between the valve body and the TCU on the 0AM / 0CW DQ200 7-speed DSG mechatronic unit. Two seals are required per unit. A degraded solenoid seal can cause internal oil leakage within the mechatronic, leading to inconsistent solenoid pressure and resulting in gear-change hesitation, slipping, or fault codes such as P17BF.
Fits transmission: 0AM / 0CW DQ200 7-speed DSG dual-clutch gearbox
Quantity required per mechatronic: 2

What does the solenoid seal do in the 0AM DSG mechatronic?
The solenoid seal creates a pressure-tight connection between each solenoid valve and the mechatronic valve body. If the seal degrades, hydraulic pressure leaks internally, causing incorrect clutch engagement, gear-shift hesitation, or fault codes stored in the transmission control unit.
How many solenoid seals does the 0AM mechatronic unit need?
Two solenoid seals are required per mechatronic unit. When rebuilding or resealing the unit it is recommended to replace both simultaneously.
Will this seal fit both the 0AM and the 0CW variants?
Yes — this seal fits both the 0AM and the 0CW (later revision) versions of the DQ200 7-speed DSG gearbox.
Is new mechatronic oil required after replacing the seal?
Yes. Any time the mechatronic unit is opened, fresh genuine DSG mechatronic fluid should be used to avoid contamination and to protect the new seals.
What other seals and components should I replace at the same time?
During a mechatronic rebuild it is best practice to replace the solenoid seals, hydraulic pump seals, pressure pump seal, TCU gasket, and — if the accumulator is suspect — the hydraulic accumulator with its adapter housing. Eco Torque stocks all of these items.
Why Choose Eco Torque?
As specialists in gearbox rebuilds and repairs, Eco Torque takes pride in offering genuine gearbox parts, high-quality aftermarket alternatives and competitive pricing.
