0AM DSG Mechatronic Unit with TCU
Fits Audi, VW, Skoda, SEAT – DQ200 7-Speed Gearbox
(0AM325026E) Non Speed Sensor Version Only.
This 0AM DSG mechatronic unit includes a Transmission Control Unit (TCU). Suitable for DQ200 7-speed dry clutch gearboxes, used in a range of Audi, Volkswagen, Skoda, and SEAT models.
Important Information:
- We can preload the vehicle software for 0AM versions. 0CW versions require cloning and customers must send their TCU to us before we are able to dispatch the unit.
- Pre-programmed relates to the core vehicle software to enable communication to the unit. This is not basic settings, which can only be done on the vehicle with diagnostic equipment.
What We Need From You:
- VIN
- Hardware number (e.g., 0AM927769D – found on the TCU or via diagnostics)
- Software number (via diagnostic tools)
- Clutch pistons and breather cap from your original unit
⚠️ Note: Vehicles with component protection will require activation post-installation via ODIS.
⚠️ Mechatronic fluid required: 1.1L of G004000M2
Installation must be carried out by an experienced technician, including basic settings and DSG adaptations.

Is this mechatronic unit pre-programmed?
For 0AM versions, we can preload the core vehicle software. However, final basic settings and DSG adaptations must be carried out on the vehicle using diagnostic equipment. 0CW versions require the customer to send in their original TCU for cloning before dispatch.
What information do I need to provide when ordering?
Please supply your VIN number, the hardware number from your existing TCU (e.g. 0AM927769D), the software number (obtained via diagnostics), and the clutch pistons and breather cap from your original unit.
Does my vehicle have component protection?
Some Audi and VW models have component protection enabled. If so, you will need to activate the unit post-installation using ODIS or an equivalent VAG diagnostic tool. Please check with your installer before ordering.
Which vehicles does this fit?
This unit is designed for DQ200 7-speed dry clutch DSG gearboxes used across a range of Audi (A1, A3, TT), Volkswagen (Golf, Polo, Passat, Jetta, Tiguan and others), SEAT (Ibiza, Leon, Altea) and Skoda (Fabia, Octavia, Superb, Yeti) models.
What fluid is required for the mechatronic?
The mechatronic unit requires 1.1 litres of G004000M2 mechatronic fluid. This should be replaced as part of the installation process.
