Reconditioned Valve Body for Ford Powershift DCT450 MPS6 (Up to 2015)
This reconditioned valve body and solenoids is designed for the Ford Powershift DCT450 MPS6 transmission built up to 2015. This is the Gen 1 Powershift valve body and is a direct replacement for the original unit. Each unit is professionally reconditioned and tested to ensure correct solenoid operation.
Fitment Details:
- Compatible with valve body number: 7M5R-7H035-CA (must match your existing unit to avoid operational issues).
- Does NOT fit 2015+ models (GEN 2).
- Requires standard adaptation procedures upon installation.
Professional installation required — this part should only be installed, removed and adapted by an experienced technician.
Common Ford Powershift Transmission Problems
If you are experiencing hesitation, shuddering, fault codes P17F0, P17F1, or other clutch-related codes, the valve body and solenoids are often the root cause. Replacing the valve body is a more economical solution than a full gearbox replacement.
Fits:
- Ford Focus, C-Max, Grand C-Max, Galaxy, Kuga, S-Max, Mondeo (with DCT450 MPS6, Gen 1, up to 2015)
- Volvo C30, C70, S40, S60, S80, V40, V50, V60, V70, XC60 (with Powershift DCT450)
How do I confirm this valve body fits my Ford?
Check the valve body number on your existing unit — it should read 7M5R-7H035-CA. If your number differs, contact us before ordering to confirm compatibility.
Does fitting a reconditioned valve body fix the Powershift judder?
A faulty valve body or solenoid is often responsible for Powershift shudder and hesitation. Replacing and adapting the valve body resolves many cases, though clutch wear should also be checked.
What adaptation is required after fitting?
Adaptation via a compatible diagnostic tool (e.g. Ford IDS or equivalent) is required after fitment to calibrate the solenoids to your specific gearbox. Always follow the correct procedure.
