About the HAG168L
The HAG168L is BMW's 168 mm rear differential, or final drive — "HAG" being the German term for the rear-axle gearbox — fitted to rear-wheel-drive 1 Series, 3 Series and X1 models from the mid-2000s. Eco Torque stocks the parts to quiet or rebuild a worn unit: differential pinion bearings and a complete rear differential bearing repair kit, plus the correct GL5 differential oil.
