About the Aftermarket Parts

Aftermarket transmission parts — built to the same specification as the original, at a lower price than the manufacturer's own box.

Aftermarket does not mean lesser. Much of this range comes from the same names that supply the production line in the first place — LuK, Sachs, Valeo, Elring, Corteco, SNR and INA — alongside VAICO, VEMO and ACKOJA from the VIEROL group and our own Eco Torque kits assembled at Arlesey. What you are not paying for is the carmaker's badge on the packaging.

Coverage runs across DSG and S tronic, dual clutch, manual, automatic, differential and Haldex parts. Where a job genuinely calls for the manufacturer's own part — a mechatronic unit that needs coding, say — we will tell you, and our genuine and OEM range covers it.

Not sure which to choose? Send us your registration and gearbox code. We will confirm what fits and talk you through where the aftermarket option is the sensible buy and where it is not.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are aftermarket transmission parts reliable? +
The ones we stock are. Much of this range is made by the same suppliers who produce the part for the vehicle manufacturer — LuK, Sachs, Valeo, Elring, Corteco, SNR and INA among them. What you are not paying for is the carmaker's packaging and margin.
What is the difference between aftermarket, OEM and genuine? +
Genuine carries the carmaker's own branding and part number. OEM is the same part from the original supplier under its own brand. Aftermarket is built to the same specification by a manufacturer that may or may not supply the production line. All three are new parts.
When is an aftermarket part the wrong choice? +
Where a component has to be coded or adapted to the vehicle, and where the manufacturer has superseded the original part to fix a known fault. Send us your registration and gearbox code and we will say so plainly rather than sell you the cheaper option regardless.
Do these parts come with a warranty? +
Yes. All parts we supply carry a warranty and the details are on each product page. If your vehicle is covered by a manufacturer or third-party warranty, check that provider's terms before fitting non-franchise parts.
How do I know which option is right for my job? +
Send us your registration and gearbox code. We will confirm what fits and quote the aftermarket, OEM and genuine options side by side so the decision is yours on price rather than guesswork.
